The last few years we have planned a pool party for Memorial Day and we got rained out. But this year it was beautiful, nice and warm. We smoked a brisket and had some neighbor families over, along with all the children and grandchildren. We had 31 total. We topped off the day with Bluebell icecream cones.
Megan helped her Granny in the morning by sitting in kitchen sink playing while I was preparing food. Amber and Dan were off to the movies for the newest Indiana Jones movie.

AAAH! the swimming pool, and brisket, and BLUE BELL ice cream cones. I do miss the Hanis home get togethers!!! It brings back so many fond memories of Texas!!
