Tuesday morning we headed to Prague in the Czech Republic.
It was a beautiful drive and we saw lots of castles and villages on the way.
Interestingly, crossing from Austria into the Czech Republic is no different
than crossing into another state. No border stops and no passport stamps. We
did have to stop at a gas station at the border and buy a tag to allow use of
the roads. Picking a hotel in Prague seemed a bit trickier and we ended up
staying in a Courtyard by Marriott. It was great and just across from a subway
station. We checked in and hopped the subway the 5 stops to the old city. We
spent the afternoon and evening in Prague. We had dinner and in the old city
and for the first time had some really outstanding sausage. And the mustard and
horse radish were the best ever. We will have to let the pictures do the
talking.
